Participants will pursue practice-based explorations within this wide-ranging framework, systematically building customized design expertise that integrates theoretical foundations, hands-on application, investigative work, business acumen, and inventive approaches drawn from varied creative and research pursuits.

Qualification Requirements

A minimum of 2:1 Honours degree is required, completed within five years of the postgraduate degree application.
Equivalent EU/international qualifications are also accepted.
Applicants who do not meet these criteria will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Other professional qualifications or degree disciplines will be considered on merit and/or with relevant professional experience.
We require the submission of a digital portfolio to evidence design practice and research, and may request an interview as part of the application process.
Please be aware the University may not be able to make a decision on your application without the academic transcript for your highest qualification. An interim transcript may be acceptable if the qualification is not yet complete.
There is no deadline for applications to our postgraduate programmes, however we recommend you apply as early as possible to allow for processing of applications and visas.
