The fashion industry is transforming at an unprecedented pace, making sustainable and creative clothing lines, collections, and business approaches more crucial than ever. Adopting mindful methods in both designing and producing fashion items is now essential.
The MA Fashion Design Technology course targets students prepared to disrupt conventional fashion industry norms and aspire to drive meaningful progress in their chosen field. The program emphasizes technological advancement and human-focused design principles. Technology fuels the development of novel, distinctive creations and enables exploration beyond physical material constraints.

Participants will critically examine prevailing standards in light of social, ethical, cultural, and political concerns. They'll employ progressive techniques to produce unconventional, imaginative, and experimental design solutions for both personal projects and real-world industry collaborations.
Throughout the program, students gain access to state-of-the-art professional equipment, specialized digital tools, expert instructors, and an international network of industry connections.

Qualification Requirements

A minimum of 2:2 Honours degree is required, in a Fashion or design-related subject. Equivalent EU/international qualifications are also accepted. Applicants will be asked to provide a portfolio to support their application.
Please be aware the University may not be able to make a decision on your application without the academic transcript for your highest qualification. An interim transcript may be acceptable if the qualification is not yet complete.
