The MA/MSc Design for Health and Wellbeing is a postgraduate program designed for professionals and enthusiasts in design, health, and wellbeing fields. It provides hands-on experience tackling real-world social challenges related to health and wellness, welcoming participants from both creative and scientific disciplines to emerge as leaders in research and practice.
Mental and physical wellbeing form the cornerstone of human life at every stage, from youth through aging. Yet current healthcare systems predominantly focus on treatment rather than prevention. This MA/MSc program champions a comprehensive, health-promoting approach that addresses individuals' needs, desires, and rights to enhance wellbeing and equity.
Participants will share the fundamental view that creative design plays a vital role in developing health interventions. They'll believe in design's collaborative methods as innovative pathways to transform public and community health initiatives.
Spanning three core domains - policy context, co-design methodologies, and intervention outcomes - this thorough curriculum equips learners with the expertise to advance in this rapidly evolving professional sphere.
