Our BSc (Hons) Zoology program takes a multidisciplinary approach to studying animal life. You'll explore diverse topics, investigating animal molecular biology, genetics, and physiology while understanding how these elements influence evolution and behavior, with systems biology integrating these concepts.
Whether your interests lie in evolutionary biology, movement physiology, ecological genetics, or tropical animal populations, you'll engage in hands-on learning. The course equips you with essential field, lab, and analytical techniques that are crucial for zoological research and professional advancement.
While we boast state-of-the-art lab facilities, we emphasize the importance of fieldwork – you may participate in research projects and field courses across Europe and Africa.
The program also offers an optional additional year to broaden your experience, either through international study at partner institutions or through professional placements with organizations, government bodies, or non-profits.
