Our Bachelor of Engineering with Honors in Mechanical Engineering offers a robust blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, preparing graduates for diverse career paths in mechanical engineering. Through project-focused coursework, you'll cultivate versatile abilities and cross-disciplinary understanding prized by employers.
The initial year establishes core competencies in applied mathematics and engineering fundamentals. You'll immediately engage in practical applications through design-and-build projects.
As you progress, you'll enhance your scientific and analytical capabilities while exploring specialized areas including mechanics of solids and fluids, dynamic systems, heat transfer, and advanced engineering mathematics. A levels ­– to include Mathematics or Further Mathematics.
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (1080) in Engineering – DMM.
Pass Access to HE Diploma in Engineering or Science with a minimum score of 106 UCAS Tariff points.
Equivalent qualifications and combinations will be considered, including Extended Project (EPQ). Other AS levels (or qualifications equivalent to AS level) are not accepted.
