This program is deeply grounded in the artistic tradition of drawing and the unique perspective this practice fosters. You'll have the chance to merge illustration techniques with animation throughout the course. By tackling diverse creative challenges, you'll cultivate approaches and abilities to effectively address various visual communication needs across different contexts. Your creative goals will be achieved through practice-based research that explores both traditional and digital media possibilities. Alumni have pursued advanced studies at prestigious institutions like the Royal College of Art, the National Film School, and Manchester Metropolitan University. Many graduates now work as independent illustrators, animators, filmmakers, designers, pre-production specialists, storyboard artists, and educators. Career opportunities Graduates of Illustration with Animation will be equipped for diverse roles in creative fields, including studio-based and freelance design, book arts and publishing, advertising, film production, story development, animation, education, and beyond. The program also provides excellent preparation for further postgraduate studies.

T level - We welcome applications from students undertaking T level qualifications. Eligible applicants will be asked to achieve a minimum overall grade of Merit as a condition of offer
IB Diploma - Pass overall with a minimum overall score of 26 or minimum 104 UCAS Tariff points from three Higher Level subjects
Other Level 3 qualifications equivalent to GCE A level are also considered. 
A maximum of three A level-equivalent qualifications will be accepted towards meeting the UCAS tariff requirement. 
AS levels, or qualifications equivalent to AS level, are not accepted. The Extended Project qualification (EPQ) may be accepted towards entry, in conjunction with two A-level equivalent qualifications.
