The School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering holds distinction as one of only four Royal Academy of Engineering Centres of Excellence in Sustainable Building Design and ranks among the top recipients of Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) funding in the built environment field.
The School operates the National Facility for Infrastructure Construction (N-FIC), supported by the UK Collaboratorium for Research in Infrastructure & Cities (UKCRIC).
