Our MSc in Construction Management boasts a distinguished history as the UK's first and the world's second oldest postgraduate construction program.
In today's evolving landscape with growing sustainability and social value considerations, construction projects have grown increasingly intricate. This MSc program is ideal for professionals seeking to blend project management skills with broader business leadership capabilities. It provides greater module flexibility than any other construction program we offer.
The School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering holds the prestigious status of being one of only four Royal Academy of Engineering Centres of Excellence in Sustainable Building Design. We also receive more research funding from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) than most built environment research groups.
Our School is home to the National Facility for Infrastructure Construction (N-FIC), supported by the UK Collaboratorium for Research in Infrastructure & Cities (UKCRIC). We also host the Building and Industrial Services Pipework Academy (BISPA), a partnership involving global steel leader Tata Steel and the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE). This comprehensive approach to construction education uniquely positions us to develop graduates who can meet the sector's escalating demands.
