Our MSc in Construction Project Management with Sustainability is specifically designed to equip construction managers with specialized knowledge in sustainable methods, emphasizing how sustainable design and construction practices are incorporated throughout a building's lifespan. Sustainability has become inseparable from modern construction management. Today's construction professionals must possess skills in environmental engineering, building physics, eco-conscious design, and the evaluation of sustainable buildings to make informed decisions and professional assessments. This program tackles pressing worldwide issues by combining current construction management principles with essential aspects of sustainable design and construction. You'll gain practical experience and insights to enhance your skills for careers in either public or private organizations. The School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering holds the distinction of being one of only four Royal Academy of Engineering Centers of Excellence in Sustainable Building Design and receives substantial funding from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). The School also oversees the Building and Industrial Services Pipework Academy (BISPA), a partnership involving global steel producer Tata Steel and the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE).
