The BSc Geography and Management joint honors program is designed for students seeking to deepen their understanding of both environmental systems and business administration. This dual-discipline approach allows you to examine how social and physical transformations impact our world while building essential management skills.
Our BSc (Hons) Geography and Management program offers balanced study between both fields, with an optional senior-year thesis that lets you investigate connections between geographical studies and business practices.
Geography
Our geography faculty are actively advancing research in both human and environmental geography while influencing policy decisions at national and international levels. This ensures your education incorporates the latest scientific discoveries and addresses contemporary global challenges.
During the first year, the curriculum covers foundational concepts in both human and physical geography, providing comprehensive knowledge about spatial relationships and environmental systems. As you progress through the program, you can choose to focus on either human or physical geography or maintain an interdisciplinary approach.
Management
The management component of this degree is delivered by one of Britain's premier business schools. Initial coursework introduces fundamental principles of accounting, finance, and personnel management. Advanced studies explore marketing strategies, operational management, and specialized areas like entrepreneurial ventures and project coordination.
