This Master's program is specially crafted for graduates from both computing and non-computing backgrounds who aspire to build a career in data science. Data science sits at the crossroads of computer science, statistics, and design disciplines. In today's fast-changing landscape, diverse forms of big data are being generated from smartphones, sensors, transactional platforms, web activity, social networks, cloud services, and other digital sources. Organizations are gathering massive datasets faster than they can often analyze them for meaningful insights.
The MSc in Data Science equips you with the technical expertise and industry-relevant competencies needed for data science positions. Throughout the program, you'll develop specialized skills in data collection, cleaning, processing, information retrieval, predictive modeling, data visualization, and effective communication of findings.
You'll acquire practical experience working with professional-grade tools for data science, business intelligence, and analytics, including SAS, Tableau, MS SQL Server, Oracle Database, and R Programming.
