Occupational therapy offers a distinctive profession focused on helping individuals enhance their health, wellness, and overall life satisfaction by addressing obstacles that limit their ability to engage in meaningful daily activities.
The BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy program is available as a 3-year full-time course or a 4-year part-time option. You'll explore both the scientific foundations and creative aspects of occupational therapy while cultivating the specialized competencies required for this field, such as activity-centered treatment approaches, rehabilitation techniques, effective communication, and other essential skills. Additionally, you'll acquire hands-on training through diverse clinical placements beyond campus, as well as in our dedicated Occupational Therapy Labs featuring simulated home environments and creative therapeutic resources.

120 UCAS tariff points (e.g. 3 A Levels at grades BBB or above), or
BTEC Level 3 extended diploma (before 2010 known as BTEC national diploma level 3) DMM in a health-related subject, or
Foundation degree/diploma (or similar), 120 credits, or
International Baccalaureate (26 points), or
NVQ Level 3 plus one year relevant work experience, or
Access to Higher Education course in Science, Health, Social Care or similar (60 credits, of which 45 credits will be at Level 3, including 30 at distinction grade and 30 at merit grade).
Plus English and Mathematics GCSE (grade AC or 4-9) or equivalent.
If your first language is not English you must have the following minimum International English Language Test Score (IELTS) results at the time of applying:
