LSBU's BA Acting and Performance provides conservatoire-level training in central London, shaping the future generation of versatile, imaginative, and professionally prepared actors, performers, directors, and theatre creators.

You'll train alongside top industry experts in London's cultural hub, collaborating with and learning from some of the globe's most prestigious theatres and performance organizations.

This intensive conservatoire program emphasizes specialized stage and screen acting methods alongside innovative composition and theatre-making approaches, equipping you with adaptable performance skills for this competitive field.

First-year acting students engage in weekly text analysis, movement, and voice instruction. Our expert voice coaches train all students in the renowned Estill Voice Training (EVT) system developed by Jo Estill, considered the industry benchmark for vocal training excellence.

You'll apply your acting abilities to professional-level projects including scene work and various production scales, presenting your performances frequently during the program. Industry-active instructors teach cutting-edge acting techniques while fostering your capacity to develop original theatrical pieces, building a diverse skill set for tomorrow's creative professions.

Final-year LSBU acting students qualify for Spotlight registration, receiving two years of reduced Graduate membership fees. This professional credential enhances your industry visibility as you transition from training to career.
