As the pioneer in Sports Therapy degree programs, this course was created in collaboration with the Society of Sports Therapists. You'll develop expertise in identifying, managing, and rehabilitating sports-related injuries and dysfunctions. Our University features a comprehensive sports therapy clinic that serves the public, offering you practical training alongside theoretical scientific education.
Recognized by the Society of Sports Therapists (SST), this program equips you with essential competencies, theoretical understanding, and clinical exposure for a successful sports therapy career. You'll master evaluation methods, therapeutic interventions, and recovery protocols for athletic injuries while building a strong scientific foundation.
The initial year establishes core fundamentals across sports therapy and exercise science disciplines, covering anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, research methodologies, and sports principles. Second-year curriculum delves deeper into sports injury analysis, manual therapy approaches, sports biomechanics applications, and physiological studies. During your final year, you'll concentrate on sophisticated, practical techniques for sports injury treatment and management.

a minimum of 104 points from A levels including a C in Biology or Human Biology, or a minimum of 104 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification eg BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma/Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Progression Diploma or Access to HE Diploma with 60 credits
GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C/grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
