Our BSc in Games Programming equips you with the essential expertise and competencies to thrive in this dynamic field. You'll become part of a collaborative network of dedicated gaming students who push themselves to excel.

The program begins by establishing fundamental C programming skills, along with game development mathematics and physics, while also covering console hardware architecture and game design principles. Throughout your studies, you'll utilize various graphics libraries and engines to create both 2D and 3D gaming experiences.

You'll acquire specialized knowledge in areas like physical computing, VR development, and AI systems, while mastering multiple programming and scripting languages relevant to the industry.

Annual core modules facilitate teamwork between artists and programmers to conceptualize and develop creative games - an approach praised by our industry partners including TIGA and our advisory board, as it reflects real-world studio workflows.

We strongly support student participation in competitive events like Game Jams and host an annual Summer Exhibition, providing all students with a platform to present their projects to industry professionals.
