The Forensic Science (including foundation year) BSc (Hons) program emphasizes scientific methods and investigative skills essential for careers in forensic science.
This four-year program includes a foundational year (Year 0) to support students who may not meet standard entry requirements or lack traditional qualifications for undergraduate study. Graduates receive the same degree title and recognition as those completing the standard three-year Forensic Science program.
Our Forensic Science (including foundation year) BSc (Hons) offers an interdisciplinary approach, teaching diverse scientific techniques to analyze biological and chemical challenges within forensic contexts.
The foundation year builds core knowledge in biochemistry, chemistry, and biology while developing essential academic skills like time management, writing, and mathematics. Students also gain introductory laboratory experience and learn basic biological/biochemical procedures relevant to science degrees.
During the foundation year, you'll collaborate with students from various disciplines, fostering idea exchange and connections across different academic interests.
