Our combined Criminology and Law BSc program provides comprehensive training in both British and EU legal systems, alongside essential criminological methodologies and theories. This dual-focused qualification prepares students for diverse careers within criminal justice or any field requiring legal expertise.

According to the 2022 Guardian rankings, we hold seventh position among London's 17 law schools.

In today's society, crime remains a pressing social issue and political priority, especially in major metropolitan areas like London. Our specialized curriculum investigates the root causes and societal impacts of criminal activity while analyzing justice systems - from policing to corrections - with particular attention to sentencing philosophies and justice concepts.

Instruction incorporates diverse pedagogical approaches: traditional lectures, interactive seminars, hands-on workshops, research projects, and personalized tutorials. We emphasize connecting academic theory with practical application and current research. Many faculty members actively contribute to criminology and legal scholarship, with their findings directly informing course content. Their publications cover diverse subjects including urban gang dynamics, transnational crime networks, digital offenses, youth protection systems, and rehabilitation services.

Students gain practical experience in our fully-equipped mock courtroom, simulating real legal proceedings and courtroom operations. The program develops both specialized legal knowledge and transferable skills including analytical reasoning, research proficiency, public speaking, and collaborative work - all vital for professional success.

Being situated in London offers unique advantages: regular guest lectures from parliamentarians, distinguished academics, accomplished alumni, and legal practitioners, plus convenient access to the city's extensive legal resources and numerous internship/volunteer opportunities in the field.
