In today's society, crime remains a pressing social issue and political priority, especially in major metropolitan areas like London. Our specialized curriculum investigates the root causes and societal impacts of criminal activity while analyzing justice systems - from policing to corrections - with particular attention to sentencing philosophies and justice concepts.
Instruction incorporates diverse pedagogical approaches: traditional lectures, interactive seminars, hands-on workshops, research projects, and personalized tutorials. We emphasize connecting academic theory with practical application and current research. Many faculty members actively contribute to criminology and legal scholarship, with their findings directly informing course content.
