Zoology involves the scientific examination of living and extinct animals, covering biological disciplines from biochemistry to ecology. This program lets you explore animal evolution and environments while specializing in your interests through placements, research projects, and specialized modules in years 2 and 3.
Hands-on learning is central to this course, with excellent local resources including three major animal collections (Chester Zoo, Knowsley Safari Park, and Blue Planet Aquarium) plus diverse habitats along the North Wales and Lancashire coasts, as well as inland ecosystems in Snowdonia and the Lake District.
