The BSc (Hons) Geography with Foundation Year examines how our natural surroundings evolve and humanity's role in shaping ecological systems. This career-focused course provides hands-on learning experiences to apply theoretical concepts in real-world settings.
Students can participate in international field studies, featuring a mandatory Level 5 expedition to Greece to examine landscapes affected by human activity and natural risks. At Level 6, optional trips to geologically dynamic regions (currently Iceland) explore themes like glacial processes, volcanic activity, environmental shifts, and sustainable development.
