The Liverpool Centre for Advanced Policing is an innovative research hub dedicated to interdisciplinary law enforcement studies. Accredited by the College of Policing, it offers degree programs under the Police Education Qualification Framework, designed to enhance your employability with UK police forces. The Professional Policing degree serves as the official pre-join qualification for police careers, providing graduates with essential knowledge and a competitive advantage when joining a police service. This program comprehensively addresses the College of Policing's academic curriculum, meaning graduates only need brief practical training upon joining a force.

Students can optionally combine their academic work with Special Constable duties, allowing them to fulfill many operational requirements in advance. This approach significantly reduces post-appointment training time.

While this dual opportunity is available to Professional Policing students, program admission doesn't require participation, nor does it impact degree completion.
