Using interdisciplinary approaches, the program explores how socio-political and historical factors have excluded certain groups from mainstream society. It addresses current debates surrounding disability and special needs, including: portrayal in media, educational access, employment opportunities, healthcare, ethical dilemmas like selective reproduction and assisted dying, plus specific conditions such as dyslexia, ADHD, and communication disorders.
