You'll have the opportunity to complete a 'sandwich year' - a paid industry placement that enhances your professional capabilities. Typically occurring between your second and third academic years, this extends your program to four years total. A sandwich year strengthens your academic performance, boosts employability post-graduation, and expands your professional network while enriching your resume.

Throughout your studies, you'll:

Create architectural designs and detailed plans to realize creative visions
Gain practical industry insights through on-site visits and real-world projects
Tackle diverse design assignments ranging from residential spaces to major commercial developments
Explore multiple disciplines to achieve mastery in construction methods, materials, regulations, and project management
Work in dedicated studio spaces, utilizing professional design software to hone your skills on architectural projects

Qualification Requirements

UCAS Tariff Points: 112 points required (Minimum 72 from two A Levels or equivalent, excluding General Studies), GCSEs - GCSE English Language and Maths at Grade 4 or above (Grade C for GCSEs taken before 2017) or equivalent. Key Skills Level 2, Functional Skills Level 2 and the Certificate in Adult Literacy and Adult Numeracy are accepted in place of GCSEs, Access to HE Diploma - Pass overall with a minimum of 112 UCAS tariff points, T Levels - Pass overall with a minimum of 112 UCAS tariff points, including a C or above on the core, Scottish Awards - 112 UCAS tariff points from a minimum of 5 Highers of which at least 2 must be grade B or above, Irish Leaving Certificate - 112 UCAS tariff points from a minimum of 5 subjects at higher level of which at least 3 must be grade H3 or above, International baccalaureate - 112 UCAS tariff points from a minimum of 3 Highers of which at least 2 must be grade H5 or above. IELTS 6.0 with no skills below 5.5, or an equivalent qualification, TOEFL iBT total of 79 to 89 Minimum for Reading (18), Listening (17), Speaking (20) and Writing (17).
