This Master's by Research program presents a unique chance to conduct and oversee your own research initiative, acquire hands-on laboratory skills, and establish key professional connections.
Research areas span across our faculty's diverse expertise, including (but not limited to) chemistry, engineering, physics, and health sciences.
Our one-year curriculum equips you with both theoretical knowledge and practical abilities to generate consistent, innovative work - a foundation for advancing in your professional journey. Central to this is your independent research endeavor, where you'll create fresh, original findings to meaningfully contribute to scientific progress.
The program structure features nine months of intensive laboratory work within a research team, followed by three months dedicated to thesis preparation. You'll receive guidance from academic mentors across departments, supplemented by additional learning opportunities through our graduate training scheme.
Your dissertation and oral examination will highlight your expertise in your selected field while demonstrating your capacity to analyze and critique existing research literature.
