The MSc Criminology and Social Research Methods program addresses critical challenges in criminology while providing outstanding postgraduate education.
This ESRC 1+3 funded program explores criminological research theory while enhancing your abilities in gathering, examining, and presenting both qualitative and quantitative data. By combining criminal justice and criminology coursework, the degree offers a comprehensive perspective on contemporary research and specialized socio-legal studies.

Core curriculum includes: Social Science Qualitative Methods, Quantitative Research Techniques, Modern Crime and Justice Systems, Theoretical Criminology, and Applied Criminological Research. The program culminates with a research dissertation in Criminology.
