This professionally accredited, multidisciplinary program offers hands-on training and specialized expertise in product design and integrated systems. At an advanced academic level, you'll embark on your path toward achieving Chartered Engineer status.

Mechatronic engineering focuses on integrated systems combining mechanical, electronic, and computer engineering - including robotics, digitally controlled engines, and autonomous vehicles. Established as the first program of its kind in 1984, our curriculum maintains such high esteem that numerous alumni progress to leading engineering teams or advancing into management roles.

Your studies commence with a shared foundation year, where all engineering students complete core modules. These introductory courses expose you to fundamental engineering concepts, developing comprehensive knowledge and skills while highlighting the field's interdisciplinary nature.

After the first year, the Mechatronics program maintains its interdisciplinary approach, reflecting contemporary engineering demands. You'll pursue specialized coursework in mechanical and electronic engineering, along with control systems, while selecting optional modules aligned with your specific interests.
