In today's engineering landscape, clear divisions between specialties are increasingly blurred, which is why we provide a broad engineering foundation. This foundational first year exposes you to core engineering concepts, building versatile knowledge and skills in areas like transportation systems, process engineering, computer science, and electronic circuits. Required Subjects A level Mathematics and a Physical Science, for example, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Design & Technology or Further Mathematics.
GCSE Minimum of four GCSEs at grade B or 5 to include Mathematics at grade B or 6, and GCSE English Language at grade C or 4.
IELTS 6.5 overall with at least 5.5 in each component. TOEFL IBT- 87 overall, minimum of 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 17 in speaking and 20 in writing, Cambridge English: Advanced CAE 176 overall with at least 162 in each element.
Interviews Applicants may be interviewed before being made an offer.

International Baccalaureate 36 points overall with 16 points from the best 3 Higher Level subjects including either:
Mathematics HL grade 6 (either pathway) plus grade 6 in a HL Physical Science.

Mathematics SL grade 7 (Analysis and Approaches) plus HL grade 6 in a Physical Science
Acceptable physical science subjects include Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Design Technology.
BTEC (Pre-2016 specifications): Distinction, Distinction, Distinction in an Engineering related subject to include Distinctions in Mathematics for Engineering Technicians and Further Mathematics for Engineering Technicians units.
