Chemical engineers lead innovation in future materials and technologies, creating and refining the processes that produce essential modern products. At the Master's level, you'll expand your expertise in chemistry and engineering while cultivating management and leadership capabilities.

Our accredited Chemical Engineering program acknowledges the discipline's wide scope by beginning with a shared foundational year across all engineering specialties. This approach reflects how chemical engineers collaborate across fields and how contemporary engineering values teamwork and communication as much as scientific principles.

The first year covers fundamental topics including design principles, material science, thermodynamics, and heat transfer, complemented by mathematical studies. Concurrently, you'll enhance your design thinking, analytical abilities, and leadership competencies.
After establishing this engineering foundation and exploring various discipline areas, you'll have the flexibility to chart your academic path. You may continue with chemical engineering or transition to one of our other specialized programs.

Chemical engineering specialization begins in the second year as you further develop essential engineering skills. The curriculum challenges you to tackle complex, real-world problems with innovative solutions. Alongside technical coursework, you'll strengthen creative thinking, business acumen, and analytical capabilities to boost career prospects.

The third year features a major group design project, requiring year-long collaboration on open-ended challenges. These projects typically encompass conceptual development while considering economic factors, safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and ethical implications. Throughout this experience, you'll refine project coordination, collaborative skills, and technical documentation abilities.
