This program invites you to explore the practical approaches, ideological frameworks, and theoretical perspectives at the intersection of diplomacy/foreign policy and religion. You'll gain analytical expertise in both religious studies and international relations while being supported to pursue interdisciplinary research, particularly through your MA thesis.
This course proves particularly valuable for professionals in or considering careers in diplomacy, global NGOs, and international policymaking. The core curriculum is complemented by specialized Politics modules.
In previous years, we've enriched the program with insights from field practitioners and, when feasible, organized relevant educational visits. Past examples include trips to London's Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Please note that participants typically bear their own travel costs for any optional excursions.
