The BSc Biomedicine program provides greater adaptability compared to our IBMS-accredited BSc Biomedical Science, enabling you to customize your studies according to your academic and career aspirations in biomedicine. The curriculum covers essential disciplines like biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, and physiology - core components of contemporary medical and health research. These topics are explored with special focus on molecular foundations and biological mechanisms, along with their dysfunction in disease states. During your initial year, you'll establish comprehensive knowledge across biomedicine through 15 diverse core modules, such as Biomedical Science in Practice, Infection and Immunity, and Protein Biochemistry. In subsequent years, you'll focus on key subjects like Medical Microbiology and Medical Genetics, while choosing additional modules from an extensive selection including: Cellular Pathology, DNA Technology, Clinical Immunology, and Tropical Diseases.
