This program offers comprehensive psychology training while preparing you for an overseas placement in a Spanish-speaking nation. Over four years, you'll benefit from the combined expertise of two specialized departments: Languages and Cultures, and Psychology. The British Psychological Society accredits this degree, granting eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership.

You'll acquire proficiency in Spanish language and cultural understanding while exploring key areas of contemporary psychology:

Brain and Behaviour: examining how neurological conditions like Alzheimer's influence actions
Cognitive Psychology: studying human responses to sensory stimuli like colors, aromas, and sounds
Developmental Psychology: investigating how babies interpret their surroundings and experiences

Qualification Requirements

A Level AAB

Required Subjects A level Spanish, or if this is to be studied from beginners level, AS grade B or A level grade B in another foreign language, or GCSE grade A or 7 in a foreign language. Native Spanish speakers will not be accepted onto this scheme.

GCSE Mathematics grade B or 6 (Applicants with a GCSE Maths C or 5 considered on a case-by-case basis)

IELTS 6.5 overall with at least 5.5 in each component. TOEFL IBT - 87 overall, minimum of 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 17 in speaking and 20 in writing. Cambridge English: Advanced CAE 176 overall with at least 162 in each element.

International Baccalaureate 35 points overall with 16 points from the best 3 Higher Level subjects and appropriate evidence of language ability
