This program explores the scientific examination of human cognition and behavior, alongside proficiency in French language and cultural understanding, equipping you with valuable international experience for a fulfilling career both in the UK and globally.

The curriculum enables you to acquire an in-depth knowledge of psychology while building the competencies needed to apply this discipline during a placement year in a Francophone nation. Over four years, you'll benefit from the combined expertise of two specialized departments: Languages and Cultures, and Psychology. Recognized by the British Psychological Society, this degree fulfills the requirements for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership.

You'll cultivate strong French language abilities and cultural awareness while examining core areas of contemporary psychology:

Brain and Behavior: examining how neurological conditions like Alzheimer's influence actions

A Level AAB

Required Subjects A level French, or if this is to be studied from beginners level, AS grade B or A level grade B in another foreign language, or GCSE grade A or 7 in a foreign language. Native French speakers will not be accepted onto this scheme.

GCSE Mathematics grade B or 6 (Applicants with a GCSE Maths C or 5 considered on a case-by-case basis)
