This dual-language program merges French and German Studies through the Department of Languages and Cultures, offering students advanced linguistic proficiency alongside a comprehensive exploration of French and German societies in a worldwide framework. The curriculum features an overseas placement during the third year.
Your studies commence with foundational French and German courses, each incorporating cultural elements. You may also select an optional minor subject, potentially including an additional language.
In your second year, you'll enhance your language capabilities while delving deeper into the cultural, political, and historical aspects of France and Germany. The program also includes globally-focused courses that foster comparative analysis of European and international contexts.
