This program investigates modern advancements in chemical, biological, and biotechnological treatments while analyzing cutting-edge pharmaceutical technologies.
Students will develop knowledge of clinical trial methodologies and the creation, production, and oversight of medications.
By undertaking an independent research study, participants can deeply explore a specialized topic. Potential research areas may involve: medicinal chemistry (such as creating anti-cancer agents and natural compounds), pharmaceutical engineering (including tablet production refinement and formulation), and medication administration systems (like intelligent polymer nanoparticles and non-vascular peptide transport).

Qualification Requirements
A 2:2 or above honours degree in chemistry, pharmacy, pharmaceutical science, pharmacology, biological science or biomedical science. Other chemistry or medical science degrees will be considered on an individual basis. All applicants will be expected to pass all mathematics modules within their first degree and should demonstrate sufficient competency in biology and chemistry.
Applicants with alternative qualifications will also need appropriate experience (in healthcare, the pharmaceutical industry or a regulatory body, for example).
For this course you must pass IELTS academic test in English with an overall score of 6.5, with no element below 6.0, or meet the scores listed on the alternative online tests.
