This program provides a systematic exploration of 19th and 20th century European philosophical thought, featuring in-depth examination and interpretation of seminal works. The curriculum includes four instructional modules culminating in a self-directed dissertation project.
Special focus is placed on the works of Kant and Hegel, along with their philosophical influence across Germany and France.
The program treats Kant's critical philosophy as fundamental for comprehending the broader European philosophical tradition.
