This course explores the scientific principles behind natural hazards, the societal elements that may lead to catastrophic events, as well as emergency preparedness and disaster risk mitigation (DRM). Through hands-on, real-world scenarios, you'll develop proficiency in various practical and fieldwork methods.
Industry professionals from diverse DRM institutions serve as guest lecturers, offering direct learning experiences and exposing you to possible career trajectories in the field.

Degree 96120 UCAS points from a minimum of two A-levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications, Degree with foundation year 32 points.
An A-level (or equivalent) in any subject is considered but we prefer one or more from Geography, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geology or Physics. General Studies not normally accepted.
Alternatively, BTEC Extended Diploma with grades MMM or BTEC Diploma with grades DD.
Candidates are normally required to hold five GCSE subjects at grade C/4 or above, including Mathematics and English Language.
