In this hands-on program, you'll cultivate real-world coaching abilities while exploring the scientific principles of impactful coaching, leadership, performance enhancement, and sports analytics. State-of-the-art equipment will be available for monitoring physiological reactions to physical activity and evaluating athletic movements and techniques.
Course components include psychological studies, motivational strategies, human anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, and performance tracking methods. Your autonomous learning capabilities will be strengthened through a specialized research project or thesis.
Upon finishing your initial year successfully, you'll earn the CIMSPA Coaching Assistant certification.

UCAS tariff points: 96120 for BSc (Hons), 32 for BSc (Hons) including foundation year from Level 3 qualifications.
A-levels (or equivalent) to include a minimum of a grade C in either PE, Biology, Human Biology, Applied Science, Psychology or Chemistry. General Studies not accepted.
Alternatively, BTEC Extended Diploma in Sports and Exercise Science or Applied Science or Applied Biology with grades MMM.
Candidates are normally required to hold five GCSE subjects at grade C/4 or above, including Mathematics and English Language.
We welcome applications from International Applicants. All non-UK applicants must meet our English language requirements. For this course it is Academic IELTS of 6.0, with no element below 5.5.
