In this program, you'll explore how computer systems and technology can help detect, stop, and handle cyber threats. You'll gain programming expertise for web technologies while learning about specialized utilities and operating system configurations. The curriculum covers cryptographic methods, public-key encryption, network protection, device security, and digital investigation techniques. Project topics range from analyzing security weaknesses to assessing mobile application safety and conducting cyber threat intelligence.
Hands-on training involves ethical penetration testing (including password breaches, vulnerability assessments, social manipulation, and system vulnerabilities) along with Security Operations Center (SOC) responsibilities like threat monitoring, proactive threat detection, security information systems, and emergency response protocols.
