Photography plays a crucial role in fine art, fashion, advertising, editorial work, and digital media. This program focuses on creating and comprehending photographic production while fostering critical thinking applicable to any discipline.
Students will explore both film and digital photography, with the primary goal of nurturing creative concepts alongside professional abilities across various photographic styles. The curriculum leverages Kingston's prime location near London's dynamic art, photography, and cultural scene - a global hub for photographic art and commerce.
Participants will have chances to experiment with traditional techniques like cyanotypes and salt prints, along with other artisanal methods including crafting distinctive, hand-made photo books.
