You'll master fundamental competencies including news reporting, feature writing, digital platforms, and media ethics/law. Central to your education will be practical training through The River Newspaper and River Online, plus access to London-based internships in the heart of Britain's media landscape, facilitated by our placement program.
The program also enables you to develop original media projects like magazines, websites, podcasts or documentaries, while examining pressing journalism industry topics. You can specialize by building an advanced portfolio featuring broadcast journalism, sports reporting, fashion coverage, data journalism, creative nonfiction, or environmental reporting - preparing you for specialized roles after graduation.

All non-UK applicants must meet our English Language requirements. For this course it is Academic IELTS of 6.5 overall, with 6.5 in Writing and all other elements at 5.5. Please note that we do not accept Indian Standard XII English to meet the English language entry requirements for this course.
