Course DetailsThe Department of European and International Studies specializes in interdisciplinary research examining Europe within a worldwide framework. We adopt a comprehensive perspective on Europe's global role, encompassing historical, political, economic, social, cultural, philosophical, and anthropological dimensions. Our international studies program concentrates on global political economy and foreign relations. These interconnected research areas work toward establishing our department as a premier institution for analyzing challenges and constraints within European and worldwide systems.The Department boasts a team of world-renowned experts in International Political Economy. Their scholarly work covers diverse areas including European economic policies, global production networks, financial systems and crises, as well as specialized regional studies of Latin America, East Asia, energy markets, and migration patterns. We welcome applications for our PhD program in International Political Economy, where candidates will collaborate with and receive guidance from these distinguished academics.Program Length: PhD track (beginning with MPhil registration), typically three years full-time or four to six years part-time.
