Our MSc in Mobile Communications provides graduates with comprehensive knowledge of contemporary telecommunications systems, spanning mobile wireless networks and signal processing. This program serves as an excellent academic route for those pursuing careers in telecommunications or advanced research. It holds accreditation from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council, fulfilling the Further Learning criteria for Chartered Engineer status. Applicants must possess a CEng-accredited BEng/BSc (Hons) undergraduate degree to satisfy all CEng educational prerequisites. Accreditation period: 2025-2028

A minimum 2:1 undergraduate Bachelor’s (honours) degree
If you have a lower degree classification, or a degree in an unrelated subject, your application may be considered if you can demonstrate significant relevant work experience, or offer a related graduate qualification (such as a Masters or PGDip).
Bachelors degree with 2.1 honours in electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, applied mathematics or physics.
We also welcome professional or occupational qualifications and consider them on an individual basis.
IELTS (Academic): 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in each skill. TOEFL iBT: 92 overall with a minimum of 23 in writing and 20 in each of the other skills.
