Infectious illnesses, autoimmune disorders, and cancers pose major challenges to worldwide healthcare systems. These conditions claim countless lives annually and, as seen during the COVID-19 crisis, can profoundly disrupt societies and cripple financial systems.
Our specialized Infectious Disease, Autoimmunity & Immunotherapies BSc program investigates disease mechanisms caused by viruses and other harmful microorganisms. Students will discover how proper immune function defends against infections and malignancies, and examine the consequences of immune system malfunctions.
This intensive one-year BSc provides exceptional training in scientific investigation, medical innovation, and healthcare business development. Participants will gain expertise in fundamental disease mechanisms at molecular, cellular, and tissue levels, along with critical skills for assessing biomedical studies.

Qualification Requirements

Entry requirements for MBBS students
King's students must have passed Stage 1 and Stage 2.
External students must have first time passes for years 1 and 2 and all SSCs.
Entry requirements for Dental students
BDS students are required to pass year 2 at the first attempt and year 3 or 4 if applicable.
Entry requirements for Veterinary students
Veterinary students are required to pass year 2 at the first attempt and year 3 if applicable.
