Biophysics is a multidisciplinary area that has driven many groundbreaking advances in contemporary science. Our Physics with Biophysics BSc program provides comprehensive knowledge of core physics and biophysics principles. You'll explore classic physics subjects including quantum theory, field and wave phenomena, and electromagnetism, alongside studying biological systems through a physics lens. About 25% of the curriculum focuses on biophysics - particularly using physics, mathematics, and computational methods to analyze biological processes. In your final year, you'll undertake substantial biophysics research projects to develop essential scientific investigation skills and research methodologies.

Standard requirements
The Access to Higher Education Diploma must be 60 credits in total.
Access to Higher Education Diploma with 45 Level 3 credits overall: 33 credits must be from units awarded at Distinction, with 12 at Merit.
The Access to Higher Education Diploma must include at least 15 Level 3 credits in Mathematics awarded at Distinction, and at least 15 Level 3 credits in Physics awarded at Distinction.
The Access to Higher Education Diploma must be in a relevant subject - Science or similar - to be considered.
IELTS (Academic) - 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in each skill.
TOEFL iBT - 100 overall with a minimum of 25 in writing and 23 in each of the other skills.
