Our Bachelor of Science program provides comprehensive training in all mathematical disciplines. You'll build a wide-ranging knowledge base covering fundamental mathematical concepts while having the flexibility to focus on your preferred areas as you advance. The third year involves an invaluable industry placement with a UK-based organization, after which you'll return for your final academic year. Securing a suitable placement demands initiative and active participation from students. The Faculty offers specialized placement assistance, including guidance sessions and employer-hosted events, equipping you with everything needed to obtain your ideal placement. Please note that A-level General Studies, Critical Thinking, Thinking Skills and Global Perspectives are not accepted by King's as one of your A levels.
Must include grades A*A in Mathematics and Further Mathematics (in any order).
If you are not studying Further Mathematics, an AS Level grade A in Further Mathematics can be considered instead, only if you additionally achieve/have achieved a grade 3 in any STEP paper or a Merit in AEA Mathematics.
International Baccalaureate
35 points including 766 at Higher Level.
Must include grade 7 in Higher Level Mathematics.
The Access to Higher Education Diploma must be 60 credits in total.
Access to Higher Education Diploma with 45 Level 3 credits overall: 39 credits must be from units awarded at Distinction, with 6 at Merit.
The Access to Higher Education Diploma must be in Mathematics with the syllabus containing Pure Mathematics, and must include at least 30 Level 3 credits in Mathematics awarded at Distinction.
IELTS (Academic) - 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in each skill.
TOEFL iBT - 100 overall with a minimum of 25 in writing and 23 in each of the other skills.
Pearson Test of English (Academic) - 69 overall with a minimum of 62 in each communicative skill.
