Biochemistry explores life at the molecular level, and our BSc program immerses students in contemporary biochemistry topics. You'll develop hands-on laboratory expertise for research settings while acquiring versatile skills applicable to diverse scientific and non-scientific careers. The program offers opportunities for international study, professional placements, or extension to a four-year MSci degree.

Standard requirements
The Access to Higher Education Diploma must be 60 credits in total.
Access to Higher Education Diploma with 45 Level 3 credits overall: 36 credits must be from units awarded at Distinction, with 9 at Merit.
The Access to Higher Education Diploma must include at least 15 Level 3 credits in Biology awarded at Distinction, and at least 15 Level 3 credits in Chemistry awarded at Distinction.
IELTS (Academic) - 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in each skill.
TOEFL iBT - 92 overall with 23 in writing and 20 in the other skills.
Pearson Test of English (Academic) - 62 overall with a minimum of 59 in each communicative skill.
