Our Ancient History BA program lets you investigate a wide variety of historical eras, regions, and civilizations. Become part of our Classics Department and select subjects that align with your passions - spanning from ancient Greece to the Roman Empire and further, including the lasting impact of classical studies on contemporary history and global issues. The curriculum extends across an extensive geographic scope, encompassing Roman Britain, the Black Sea region, Persia, Egypt, and North Africa. While concentrating on historical studies, you'll also have chances to acquire Latin and/or Greek language skills and delve into disciplines like literature, art, and philosophy.

Standard requirements
The Access to Higher Education Diploma must be 60 credits in total.

Access to Higher Education Diploma with 45 Level 3 credits overall: 33 credits must be from units awarded at Distinction, with 12 at Merit.

The Access to Higher Education Diploma should be in a relevant subject - Humanities or similar - to be considered.

IELTS (Academic) - 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in each skill.
TOEFL iBT - 100 overall with a minimum of 25 in writing and 23 in each of the other skills.
Pearson Test of English (Academic) - 69 overall with a minimum of 62 in each communicative skill.
