Course overview
Our program focuses on patient-centered care. You'll develop into a nurse capable of assessing and addressing the evolving, complex needs of patients during potentially difficult periods in their lives.
Adult nursing involves caring for individuals with varied health requirements. Whether supporting patients with chronic conditions or working in dynamic clinical environments for acute care, nurses play a vital role in patient outcomes.
Our curriculum combines theoretical knowledge with practical skill development. You'll first practice clinical techniques in controlled environments before applying them during placements.
The first year focuses on fundamental care needs, while subsequent years build your ability to assess, deliver, and coordinate care for individuals and groups.
We emphasize multidisciplinary learning, enabling you to study alongside future healthcare colleagues like medical and pharmacy students. This approach helps you understand each professional's role in patient care - crucial for clinical success.
