This program offers a comprehensive curriculum that spans both theoretical and practical aspects of engineering. It aims to prepare future mechanical engineers to make meaningful contributions to society throughout this century. The first two years provide all students with core mechanical engineering fundamentals through various teaching methods including lectures, labs, design workshops, and hands-on modeling and manufacturing projects. During the third year, students implement these foundational concepts to solve actual, complex engineering problems, highlighted by an independent research project that fosters innovative thinking. The final year allows for specialization through elective courses and features a significant team-based project tackling open-ended technical problems. Students collaborate across disciplines on projects addressing global issues, inspired by Engineers Without Borders initiatives. From the beginning of the program, students expand their professional networks through interdisciplinary collaboration, mirroring modern industry practices where cross-disciplinary knowledge proves invaluable in professional settings.
