Delivered by experienced academics and professional practitioners alongside industry experts, the program also offers chances for international collaborative work in specialized disciplines.
This MA program bridges conceptual frameworks with hands-on exploration, fostering a dynamic exchange between theory and application. It cultivates a sophisticated academic setting that examines design principles, research, and professional approaches on an international scale.
Over 15 months, participants explore experimental and applied design methods, evaluating evolving design paradigms in current product design. They also analyze the broader responsibilities of product designers in our rapidly shifting, intricate design landscape.
Instruction occurs through diverse formats including lectures, one-on-one guidance, group discussions, and off-site visits.
Complementing this, dedicated technical support is available across specialized facilities including the Design Lab, Digital Lab, Materials Workshop, and Photography Studio to enrich the educational journey.
