The Graduate Certificate in Mathematical Sciences is tailored for students aiming to enroll in our mathematics or actuarial science master's programs but currently lack the necessary university-level mathematics or statistics background. This certificate provides the essential mathematical and statistical foundation needed to advance into any of the following MSc programs:

- MSc in Actuarial Management
- MSc in Actuarial Management with Data Science
- MSc in Actuarial Science
- MSc in Actuarial Science and Management
- MSc in Applied Mathematical Sciences
- MSc in Computational Mathematics and Data Analysis
- MSc in Mathematics
- MSc in Applied Mathematical Sciences with Climate and Environmental Modeling
- MSc in Mathematical Biology, Ecology, and Medicine

Students may pursue this as a non-degree pathway to an MSc or opt to earn either a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma. Course selection depends on:

- Your current university-level mathematics background
- The specific MSc program you intend to pursue the following year

Applicants from Scotland, the UK, or EU may receive a combined offer for the Graduate Certificate and subsequent MSc, contingent on achieving at least a 65% average in all exams. Tier 4 visa holders cannot access this combined offer but may use the certificate to qualify for separate MSc applications later.

The program structure varies based on:
- Your existing mathematics qualifications
- Your target MSc program

EU/UK applicants can secure a conditional offer for both the certificate and MSc, requiring a 65% average to progress. Tier 4 visa students must apply separately for MSc programs after completing the certificate.
